*Remote fly-in/fly-out adventures (other than included Bush Plane Bear Tours) and
helicopter tours are available for an additional fee. (Lodge personnel will help clients
book these adventures. Please make arrangements before arriving)

staying in the lodge. Includes all expenses from the time your group arrives in Homer, AK until they depart.

The Alaskan Experience: Things to Do
Late Spring (May – Mid-June)
Alaska Bear Hunting/Winter Salmon Fishing
Hunting of Black Bear just below the Kenai Mountains or fishing the waters of
Kachemak Bay for Winter King (Chinook) Salmon. Accommodations at Cove
Peaks Lodge with entire facility dedicated to your program.
Summer (June – Mid-September)
World-Class Halibut Fishing
Private 6-person charter fishing leaving out of Homer, Alaska. Trips can include
chasing Rock Fish, Halibut and Salmon. Homer is the Halibut Fishing Capital of
World-Class Salmon Run Fly Fishing (all five salmon species available)
Fishing some of the most extensive salmon runs in the world including
Kenai/Russian River and Rocky Run.
Bush Plane Brown Bear Viewing in Katmai National Park and Aerial Glacier Tours
Land a bush plane on the ocean shore of Katmai National Park and take a 3-4
hour walking tour and get with 10-15 feet of dozens of brown bears in their
natural habitat. No fences or barrier, just experienced guides who will let you see
wild bears unlike any other experience in the world.
All events will be based out of Cove Peaks Lodge. Meetings and trainings will occur at
the lodges business facilities. Video-conferencing can be used to interact with key
personnel who are unable to attend in-person.
Late Fall (Mid-September – Late November)
Sea Duck Hunting
Sea duck hunting in Alaska is a little known secret. Sure it is cold and dark, but
plentiful access to several uncommon sea duck species. All hunts are guided by
professional guides. Depending of the time of the trip, you can also get a charter
to fish for winter king salmon in the bay or pulling up crab pots for fresh Alaskan
snow crabs straight from the ocean.
