Cove Peaks Lodge offers an exciting and exotic duck hunting experience for our guests. Our hunting grounds are located in the beautiful Kachemak Bay, Alaska, and are home to a wide variety of duck species, including the Harlequin, Old Squaw, White Wing Scoters, Black Scoters, Surf Scoters, Barrow’s Goldeneye, Common Goldeneye, Buffleheads, Red-breasted Mergansers, Common Mergansers, Blue-bills, Mallards, Pintail, Teal, Shovelers, Wigeon, and Gadwalls.
Black and brown bear Viewing in Alaska is a unique and exciting experience. The bears in this area are known for their large size and beautiful colorations, with many individuals having fur that ranges from blonde to black. The hunting season for black bears typically runs from late spring to early fall, providing a good opportunity for Viewing.
